Does Hair Straightening cause Hairfall?
No. With ShowStopper Salon’s Hair Straightening / Smoothening Unique Treatment you will not face issue of hair fall as the Hair Straightening / Smoothening Expert Hairstylist are highly trained for it.
The Stylist have high skills and are trained not to touch the hair roots / scalp which in return does not affect the hair fall at ShowStopper Salon.
Does Hair Straightening cause itchiness dryness?
No. After treatment with ShowStopper Salon you will not face itchiness or dryness as the hairstylist will guide you on how to take after care & the correct way to wash your hair to avoid dryness and itchiness also ensure last the straightening effect.
Can I use normal shampoo after Straightening / Smoothening?
No. You should avoid using any other shampoo and conditioner.
You should only use same the shampoo and conditioner of the same brand with which the Hair Straightening / Smoothening treatment was done. Our experts would provide you complete details of the process and products used.
Can I do Straightening/ Smoothening on Heena / Mehendi coated hair ?
Henna creates coating on hair, so treatment may not work on hair cuticles.
You can do hair straightening / Smoothening on henna treated hair usually after 3 months if hair does not have heavy henna coating.
In some cases, you may require intense wash or pre-treatment to remove any coating on cuticles before doing hair straightening on your henna coated hair.
How long does hair straightening / smoothening last?
Hair straightening / smoothening is a permanent treatment on the existing hair length. It doesn’t affect the new hair growth, hence it will be your natural texture. It lasts long & visibly until your new hair grows.
Can I have my natural hair again after hair straightening/smoothening ?
Yes, you can have your natural hair back after straightening in around 9 months – 1 year or until your new hair grows in length.
If I want to make my hair curly, can I do it, will it damage the treatment?
Yes, Curls can be done to the hair after straightening / smoothening.
But remember, excess use of comb can make it frizzy.
It’s advisable to avoid curling of hair or atleast not to do immediately after the treatment.
